The next Research Opportunities Week (ROW) at TU Munich will take place from April 1-5, 2019. During the ROW, 50 talented young scientists from all over the world have the opportunity to visit different research facilities at TUM, to meet professors of their disciplines, to inform themselves about possible postdoc funding opportunities in Germany and to create a scientific network. The stay including travel expenses and accommodation is fully funded by TUM’s Postdoc Mobility Travel Grant. Young talent from the other EuroTech Universities is particularly welcome to apply.
The TUM University Foundation Fellowship (TUFF)
After the ROW, participants get the exclusive chance to apply for the attractive TUM University Foundation Fellowship (TUFF) to conduct a research project for a year. Furthermore, fellows receive support to apply for further funding by national and international programs with the support of the TUM Talent Factory.
Requirements
Interested researchers can submit their application via the application portal between Sept. 1, 2018 and Oct. 31, 2018. Information about the required documents and the portal link can be found on the Research Opportunities Week website.
Researchers may apply for the Research Opportunities Week if they are:
- applying from a foreign university (Germans can apply as long as if they are currently working abroad and did not do their PhD at TUM)
- PhD students in their final year or postdocs who obtained their PhD no longer than 3 years ago (i.e. after April 2016).
