Colleagues from the EuroTech Universities Alliance organized a two-day workshop with the title 'Europe - a continent of opportunities: what's on offer for young research talent' at the 2018 IGSSE Annual Forum. The objective of the workshop was to elaborate on the different career opportunities Europe offers to PhD students.
This year, the Annual Forum of the International Graduate School of Science and Engineering (IGSSE) was organized at the TUM Science and Study Center Raitenhaslach. Under the motto 'Science without borders', around 100 PhD students attended the three-day seminar to learn more about the opportunities of internationalization and to discuss different possibilities of going abroad.
Together with colleagues from the EuroTech Universities Alliance and TUM ForTe, TUM Brussels hosted one of the nine workshops offered. The workshop focused on the unique European offer for young research talent to develop more international and entrepreneurial career paths. The participants also gained insights into how they can benefit from TUM’s strategic alliances.
Furthermore, the EuroTech Universities Alliance presented its activities and programmes during the 'Peer Talks' with four PhD students from EPFL and DTU presenting their individual career paths and projects.
