On 26 November 2018, the EuroTech Universities Alliance Brussels Office will host a workshop on gender policies. Participants from the EuroTech Universities will engage in an exchange on visions, policies and current activities — and explore the potential for collaboration on e.g. Gender Action Plans.
The workshop builds upon previous exchanges within the EuroTech Universities Alliance. The EuroTech Universities have already addressed gender issues at universities of science and technology, for instance with regard to research careers of female staff members and recruitment of female students. A regular exchange on common challenges and potential solutions has been carried out since the early days of the Alliance and included developing a Joint Statement on the European Research Area in 2013.
