On 20-21 November 2017, the EuroTech Brussels Office will host a workshop on technologies for user needs in transport. Participants will exchange on current and future activities, on-going projects and trends in transport, and discuss policies and priorities with the European Commission.
Currently, mobility is being transformed through shared mobility services and easier shifts between transport modes thus users’ experience of mobility is profoundly changing. At the same time, the European Commission wants to make clean, competitive and connected mobility a reality for everyone. To realize that, a comprehensive and integrated approach with all actors working together is necessary to face the mobility challenges of the future.
This workshop is is well-timed and builds upon previous exchanges within the EuroTech Universities Alliance’s focus area Smart & Urban Mobility. Since 2013, the EuroTech Universities Brussels Office has organized several workshops and events in the field of mobility, which addressed various aspects, such as e.g. Intelligent Transport Systems.
