Universities’ Chief Information Officers’ to discuss benchmarking on 29-30 May 2017

On 7.10. 2016 the EuroTech Brussels Office hosted a first meeting between the Chief Information Officers (CIOs) of the four EuroTech universities. During that meeting participants discussed the opportunities provided by new digital systems, tools and policies, including open science and innovation, IT infrastructures, the digital transformation of education as well as the new skill sets needed by students to be ready for changing working environments. All these topics are not only important for all EuroTech Universities but also high on the European agenda thus a follow-up meeting was planned.

The second meeting of CIOs, which will take place on 29 – 30. 05.2017 at DTU’s campus in Lyngby, Denmark, will build upon the previous discussions. Focusing on analytics and benchmarking, the participants will exchange and compare facts and figures, share best practices and develop common KPIs.
