In order to further internationalize TUM's curricula and intensify international research collaborations, TUM International Center established two programs which facilitate short-term stays of distinguished international researchers at TUM.
There are calls for two different programmes open:
- Visiting Professor Program funded by Bavarian State Ministry for Science, Research and the Art. The main objective of this visiting professor program is to internationalize the curricula by integrating new and innovative research topics in teaching activities of TUM chairs. Developing and fostering joint teaching/research projects as well as preparation of joint proposals and future teaching/research collaborations are also eligible.
- August-Wilhelm Scheer Visiting Professor Program. Scientists with an outstanding international reputation are invited to engage in an intensive collaboration with TUM researchers in cutting-edge research fields and/or offer complementary research-orientated teaching.
The deadline for both calls is February 26, 2016.
