The EuroTech Postdoc Programmes

The EuroTech Postdoc Programmes - with a first phase from 2017 to 2022 and a second from 2020 to 2025 - have been providing international research and career development opportunities for high-potential doctoral graduates. The programmes bundle access to the research expertise and infrastructures across all EuroTech Universities and offer entrepreneurship and cross-border mobility opportunities for fellows in the academic and non-academic sector. Both phases have been co-funded by the European Union’s Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions COFUND programme.

The first EuroTechPostdoc programme (2017-2022) has been providing grants for 80 post-docs. It has been one of the first cross-country fellowship programmes co-funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme. The first call for applications of the EuroTechPostdoc Programme opened in November 2017; a second call was launched in autumn 2018. The EuroTechPostdoc programme has been coordinated by Technical University of Munich.

The second programme - EuroTechPostdoc2 (2020-2025) - was launched in June 2020 and includes now also the two universities which joined the alliance in 2018 (Ecole Polytechnique) and 2019 (Technion Israel Institute of Technology). Deadlines for proposals are foreseen for February 2021 and 2022. In total, 70 grants will be available for international post-docs. EuroTechPostdoc2 has been coordinated by Eindhoven University of Technology.
