20 December 2022 | An eventful year is coming to an end. In 2022, we were finally able to meet in person again. We are grateful for the numerous personal encounters in the past twelve months and look forward to seeing and working with you in 2023.
We were also happy to welcome many colleagues online, for instance to our EuroTech Policy Deep Dives on semiconductor chips and on clean hydrogen. We hope you enjoyed this new format as much as we did. Stay tuned for more in 2023!
At an internal level, we were able to intensify collaboration between our six universities considerably. The new EuroTech Visiting Researcher Programme that funds inter-university research stays played an important role in that. A new call for applications is currently open. If you are a researcher employed at a EuroTech University, have a look!
And the year is also ending on a high note: Last week, a selection of aspiring EuroTech innovators had the opportunity to engage in an insightful discussion with Margrethe Vestager, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission. We are proud to see our young talents make the best of the education they have received and contribute to the fight against climate change and for a strong Europe.
Thank you for your kind collaboration in 2022. We wish you a relaxing holiday season and all the best for 2023.
