On 24-25 May 2018, the EuroTech Universities Alliance hosted a proposal workshop in one of the five EuroTech Focus Areas: Smart &Urban Mobility. 20 researchers from all four partner universities came together in Lausanne to further develop proposal ideas for different calls under Horizon 2020
Currently, mobility is being transformed through shared mobility services and easier shifts between transport modes, with users’ experience of mobility thus changing profoundly. At the same time, the European Commission aims to make clean, competitive and connected mobility a reality for everyone. Under H2020, especially in the Societal Challenges pillar, different calls currently tackle these challenges of modern transport.
During the workshop, the participants worked on different ideas covering topics such as logistics, green vehicles and automation.
