15 November 2017 | The 2018 EuroTech Winter School « Energy systems: from physics to systems » aims to give a general knowledge of integrated energy systems, provide methodological approaches to address multi-disciplinary energy-related challenges, specialized topics, and includes industry days and lab visits.

Energy conversion approaches, from physics to devices:
• Introduction to energy landscape
• Renewable energy conversion approaches: hydro, solar, geothermal, biomass, nuclear and fusion, wind.
• Thermodynamic cycles and systems
• Electrical energy conversion and transmission
The EuroTech Winter School will take place on 5 – 16 February 2018. Registration is on a first come first served basis and closes on 15 January 2018. Priority is given to 1st year PhD students. More information on the EPFL website.
