Join us in Eindhoven for ESIT 2024, organised by the IEEE Information Theory Society, EuroTech, TU/e and Quantum Delta NL! The IEEE European School of Information Theory (ESIT) is an annual educational event for graduate students from institutes throughout Europe and beyond. The objective of the school is to provide participants with the opportunity

  • to learn from distinguished lecturers by attending long-format (3-hour) tutorials,
  • to present their own work to obtain feedback and to start up collaborations,
  • to hear about applications of information theory in industry, and
  • to participate in a stimulating and inviting forum of scientists.

ESIT 2024 will be held in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, home to Philips, NXP Semiconductors, ASML, etc. The programme includes a mix of tutorials, seminars and industry sessions by experts on topics of current interest in information theory and affiliated fields, e.g., communication and coding theory, machine learning and statistics, quantum information processing, information-theoretic security.
