29 October 2024 | Two recent university rankings – the long-established Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings and the newly emerging EngiRank University Ranking that focuses on engineering universities in Europe – have awarded once again top positions to EuroTech Universities. Three of our members score a top 100 rank with THE, and two more count amongst the best 200 universities in the world. The EngiRank list is even led by a EuroTech University and has almost all our universities in its top 50.
The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025 rank more than 2,000 institutions from 115 countries and territories, based on information supplied by the institutions themselves, which is scrutinised and considered against a set of criteria. Read more about the methodology here and find the full list here.
EngiRank compiles its rankings without collecting information directly from the institutions and uses solely external databases. This year’s ranking includes 225 higher education institutions in the 27 EU countries, Switzerland and Norway (183 in the institutional ranking). Find more information here and the full list here.
