EuroTech CIOs met in Brussels

All four EuroTech Universities are exploring the opportunities provided by new digital systems, tools and policies introduced at their Universities. Open science and innovation, IT infrastructures, the digital transformation of education, and the new skill sets needed by students to be ready for new digital working environments, are high on the agenda. In order to exchange best practices between the EuroTech Universities on how to best develop and implement an effective digital strategy in institutions of higher education, the EuroTech Universities Alliance Brussels Office hosted a first one-day meeting between the Chief Information Officers of all four partners on 7 October. Selected officials from the European Commission were also invited to this meeting in order to promote an informal discussion on current and future developments and policies related to this topic.
