DTU invites talented young researchers with outstanding results in their PhD studies to apply.
Technical University of Denmark (DTU) invites highly talented young researchers who have obtained outstanding results during their PhD studies and demonstrated excellence and potential in their field of study, to apply for one of the fellowships under the international HC Ørsted Postdoc – COFUND Programme.
The COFUND programme is based on incoming mobility and will enable candidates from all over the world to carry out curiosity-driven, bottom-up research projects within all branches of engineering science at DTU. It will contribute to the researchers’ career development and broadening and deepening their individual competencies by exposing them to an international and multidisciplinary environment. The programme is cofunded by Marie Curie Actions.
A total of 56 fellows will be enrolled in the programme over the next three years. 20 fellowships will be granted in 2014. Fellowships will be granted for 12-24 months.
Eligibility and application
Eligible applicants must move to Denmark at the beginning of the programme. Additionally, at the time of the deadline, applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity in Denmark for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the deadline.
DTU welcomes applications from all interested candidates irrespective of age, gender, disability, race, religion or ethnic background.
The new application deadline is 18 May 2014 (midnight, CEST).
DTU encourages interested candidates to contact a research group of interest at DTU and start a dialogue with the supervising professor in order to collaborate on developing a research plan.
