16 February 2017 | TUM launched a call for the August-Wilhelm Scheer Visiting Professorship programme funded by the Excellence Initiative. The programme enriches the vibrant research culture at TUM by awarding a visiting professorship to scientists with an outstanding international reputation who wish to engage in intensive collaboration with TUM researchers. It may be particularly interesting for EuroTech Universities professors working with TUM professors in the Focus Areas.
The funding can include the following:
- Joint research projects (new and ongoing).
- Preparation of research proposals and future research collaborations.
- Research-orientated teaching in English. Fundamental teaching/courses are not eligible under this program.
The programme allows short-term (one week to three months) or long term (three months to two semesters) stays.
Exclusively TUM professors are entitled to submit proposals. The deadline for applications is 7 April 2017.
