Open Science is a policy priority for the European Commission and the standard method of working under its research and innovation funding programmes as it improves the quality, efficiency and responsiveness of research. For researchers and innovators, it is however sometimes challenging to comply with all Open Science requirements. Against this backdrop, Michael Arentoft, Head of Unit Open Science at DG Research & Innovation, EU Commission, will give an invited talk for the EuroTech community on Wednesday, 10 May 2023. The talk will cover:
- Latest and future development in Open Science
- Practical and technical innovations that serve the implementation of open practices
- Open Science in Horizon Europe
- Policy development that the universities should consider in relation to Open Science.
