Fall school: Interdisciplinary Approaches for Future Smart Grids

Institut Polytechnique de Paris’ Interdisciplinary Center on Energy and Climate Change (E4C) is inviting PhDs, postdocs & Master’s students aspiring to pursue a PhD to explore interdisciplinary approaches for future smart grids. The fall school will take place from 7 to 11 October 2024. It is designed to bring together research, industry and public authorities in a collaborative environment to delve deep into the challenges and opportunities presented by the evolution of smart grids. 

With a focus on information and communications grid technologies, optimisation, forecasting, societal and behavioural studies, participants will gain valuable insights into the dimensions of smart grid technologies and their implications for communities and individuals.

Throughout the programme, attendees will engage in a variety of activities and discussions aimed at fostering a holistic understanding of the multifaceted nature of future smart grids. From exploring cutting-edge methodologies to investigating real-world use cases, participants will have the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and expertise in this rapidly evolving field.
