AI and robotics are revolutionising how we collaborate at work. Yet, many pressing questions regarding how this collaboration can be improved remain unanswered. For example:
- How can we design future AI systems to enhance collaboration?
- What skills do humans need to collaborate with robotic or AI systems seamlessly?
- How can humans and systems trust each other?
To explore these and many more questions, the organisers of this EuroTech summer school have invited an international and multidisciplinary group of keynote speakers who are experts in this domain. The goal of the summer school is to provide PhDs and Postdocs a comprehensive introduction to the opportunities and challenges of creating synergies between human and (semi-)autonomous machines in different industries.
Together, the participants will identify the basis of teamwork and elaborate on the differences between teams that integrate machines as active team members, explore various collaboration opportunities between both parties, outline cognitive, affective and behavioural barriers and illustrate how organisations and stakeholders can facilitate tomorrow’s workforce.
Come to Eindhoven in summer 2024 for interesting discussions, workshops, lectures, and interactive seminars to learn more about these topics and to develop your own ideas about the future of collaboration.
