New fellowships with focus on industrial sustainability in Denmark

24 April 2023 | DTU has been working closely with the Eco-Industrial Cluster, GreenLab, in Skive, Denmark in developing a new fellowship programme with a focus on industrial sustainability. Next to DTU and GreenLab, the programme includes VILLUM FONDEN and Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies (AIAS). The programme partners just launched an open research call for up to five joint theme-based fellowships for 22 months from September 2023 to July 2025.

The GreenLab-VILLUM theme-based fellowships seek to enhance interdisciplinary and global collaboration by engaging an interdisciplinary and international group of excellent researchers in theme-based research projects within the scope of GreenLab.

Who can apply?
Researchers of any nationality and from all academic disciplines with research profiles within the thematic scope of the call. The programme’s target group is talented researchers at all career stages with minimum a PhD at the time of the application deadline.

Research topics
Examples of research topics for fellows under the thematic mission:

  • Digital solutions for control and optimization of hybrid energy to industrial production and storage, as well as new market mechanisms
  • New models for socio-economic value, new capitalism, circular economy, and equilibrium models for circular industrial cluster design
  • Economic modelling of integrated energy infrastructure in cluster development

The deadline for applications is 16 May 2023.
