10 March 2021 | Do you want to be a medical start-up founder? Join the BME-Hack and explore it! The online hackathon is organised by Technion’s Faculty of Biomedical Engineering and T-hub, the Technion Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre, in the frame of the EuroTech Innovation Day, which will take place on 28 April 2021. A prize of €2,500, sponsored by NGT3-VC and Philips, will be divided among the winning teams.
The purpose of BME-Hack is to expose students to the experience and challenges of establishing a biomedical start-up. As part of the hackathon, we will bring together students from diverse academic backgrounds and nationalities to find solutions for medical challenges while implementing engineering approaches. The students will develop the projects while accompanied by mentors, consultants, and entrepreneurs from the medical device field with diverse experience in technology, product and business development, regulation, marketing, and investment.

Application deadline: April 1, 2021.
