Results of EuroTech Visiting Researcher Programme 2023

15 March 2023 | 58 researchers across all EuroTech Universities will receive funding through our Visiting Researcher Programme this year! After a successful start last year, the mobility programme also proved to be very popular in 2023. While the core principles remained the same – funds for research stays of one to four weeks, a lean and straightforward application process, and a timely communication of results – we had extended the target group in 2023, allowing also not-tenured researchers to apply. The programme will allow the applicants to visit their peers at other EuroTech Universities to establish new collaborations, intensify existing ones, exchange ideas, and work on joint publications and projects.

We are very pleased to see the programme gaining traction and being appreciated by our researchers. In some cases, the collaboration funded will include more than two universities

Like last year, the majority of the stays will last one to two weeks, but also stays of four weeks were often requested. Applications were possible for a maximum duration of four weeks.

About

The EuroTech Visiting Researcher Programme allows EuroTech researchers to spend one to four weeks at another EuroTech University. The goal is to enhance collaboration between the six EuroTech Universities in a sustainable way. The programme has a very lean set-up, with a short, straightforward application form and a timely evaluation process. It had been piloted in 2022 and, given the very positive feedback, been continued in 2023.
