15 November 2021 | With a small audience on-site and a large crowd online, the six EuroTech Universities celebrated last Wednesday, 10 November, the 10-year anniversary of the Alliance.
The anniversary slogan “Empowering Society” came to life in a set of inspiring discussions. “Technology for society – are we getting it right?” – this question served as a leitmotiv for the event. The speakers tackled it from different angles: What is our responsibility as researchers? Do we ask the right questions? And do we have the right policies to ensure that technology is developed with and for society?
We were very happy to welcome speakers from NGOs, the European Institutions, start-ups, and of course the EuroTech Universities, and would like to thank all of them as well as the audience for their commitment and interest.
