With the revision of the EuroTech Focus Areas in 2019, the presidents of the six EuroTech Universities defined Additive Manufacturing as one of the areas for collaboration. In this Working Group, researchers from all six partners meet regularly (at least twice a year) to discuss the newest developments in Additive Manufacturing. Coming from backgrounds like material science, 3D printing or production technologies, the interdisciplinary group brings different expertise from different university departments to the table.
The members of the Working Group regularly exchange on their evolving research expertise and explore joint interests for cooperation (research, education, innovation). Furthermore, they actively follow the EU policy framework and explore possible funding opportunities within the European framework programme for research and innovation (Horizon Europe). If opportune, the group jointly develops proposals for different EU funding schemes (within Horizon Europe, but also others like COST Actions).
