IP Paris gets a sixth member: École nationale des ponts et chaussées

16 July 2024 | Institut Polytechnique de Paris has adopted a new governance structure, welcoming a sixth prestigious engineering school, École nationale des ponts et chaussées (ENPC), to join its five other founding members, École polytechnique, ENSTA Paris, ENSAE Paris, Télécom Paris and Télécom SudParis. The integration of this sixth engineering school enables IP Paris to broaden its educational and research offer. The Institute is thus opening up to crucial fields such as sustainable cities, civil engineering and construction, as well as environmental, climate and energy sciences.

With the arrival of ENPC, Institut Polytechnique de Paris also crosses the threshold of 10,000 students, including more than 1,200 doctoral students, giving it the critical mass to compete with the world’s leading higher education and research institutions.
