EuroTech winter school: Green Hydrogen – Powering the Future

For years, EuroTech has funded selected summer/winter schools organised by doctoral candidates for their peers. This year, there will be a PhD winter school on hydrogen hosted by DTU, taking place from 28 November to 2 December and covering hydrogen production, handling, and usage. 

Draft programme:

  • Day 1: Check-in and networking dinner
  • Day 2: Production of green hydrogen
    Topics covered: Low temperature electrolysis, solid oxide electrolysis, methane-pyrolysis
  • Day 3: Transport, storage, logistics, and the European framework
    Topics covered: Liquid hydrogen, solid state storage, economy, and policies
  • Day 4: Utilisation of hydrogen in chemical industries, transportation, and generation of electricity + poster session of participants
    Topics covered: Ammonia in shipping, decarbonising aviation, industrial usages
  • Day 5: Company visit

Audience

🔒 This webinar addresses exclusively PhD students enrolled at a EuroTech University (DTU, EPFL, L’X – IP Paris, Technion, TU/e, TUM). Please note that the number of spots per university is limited.
